Fiona Bicket teaches a variety of styles to all ages in her studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She emphasizes improvisation, including simple melodic improvisation based on the Greek modes. She also assists students to find their way to playing by ear. Fiona teaches both classical and jazz styles, and is well-versed in the bebop idiom, as taught by Barry Harris.

Denise Kahn specializes in teaching adult amateurs using many of Abby Whiteside's principles. She holds frequent piano activities for her students including bi-monthly performance classes and monthly chamber music sessions. She was a founding member of the Cameo Trio, which has performed here and abroad. Her teachers included Murray Perahia and Sophia Rosoff.
Gregg Kallor is a pianist, composer, and improviser with a background in classical music and jazz. His solo concerts at Carnegie Hall, presented by the Abby Whiteside Foundation, have featured a mix of classical pieces, jazz, improvised arrangements of rock and pop songs, and original music. Kallor's teachers have included Kenny Barron and Fred Hersch, and he has been studying with Sophia Rosoff since 2000.
John Kamitsuka lives and teaches in New York City. He has worked closely with Sophia Rosoff for nearly three decades and absorbed her approach to teaching as her student. In addition to a thriving private teaching class in New York City, Mr. Kamitsuka regularly travels around the United States, South America, Japan and Europe giving concerts and masterclasses.

Jeong-Hwa (Chung-Wa) Park earned her master's and doctoral degrees in piano performance from Arizona State University. She has studied with Sophia Rosoff since 2001. Currently, she teaches at the preparatory division at Queens College and performs as a soloist and chamber musician in NYC.
Jeremy Siskind is an improvising pianist equally at home in the jazz and classical worlds. Holding degrees in Jazz Performance and Music Theory from the Eastman School of Music, he currently teaches piano, composition, and beginning music theory at Bergen Yamaha in New Jersey. He's given masterclasses on all aspects of jazz and composition.

Dan Tepfer is an acclaimed New-York-based jazz pianist and composer who has also been studying and performing classical music for most of his life. He was born in Paris, France in 1982 and attended the Paris Conservatoire Paul Dukas there. He later received his master's in music from the New England Conservatory. Since moving to New York, he has studied with Fred Hersch, Zitta Zohar and Sophia Rosoff. He teaches improvisation and piano technique.
Neely Bruce is professor of music at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He has worked with Sophia Rosoff since 1998. He is the composer of over 800 pieces of music, including approximately twelve hours of piano music. He has performed an exceptionally broad range of piano literature, and regularly teaches seminars in Bach, Chopin and American music. His performances of American music past and present have been recorded for Nonesuch, Polydor, Vox and Lovely Music.
Vivian Hornik Weilerstein
Vivian Hornik Weilerstein is on the piano, collaborative piano, and chamber music faculty of the New England Conservatory where she also directs the Piano Trio Program. She is on the chamber music faculty of the Juilliard School. As a member of the Weilerstein Trio she performs around the world. Her discography includes duo and trio recordings on the Arabesque, Azica, EMI, and Koch labels. She has worked with Sophia Rosoff for 10 years.

Carol Ann Barry teaches students from ages five through college preparatory levels. The studio program includes annual performance experiences with an orchestral ensemble. Additionally, Mrs. Barry consults with teachers to improve their understanding of appropriate curriculum and teaching strategies for students. Sessions are available for independent and collegiate teachers.

Deborah Awner Gandolfo
Deborah Gandolfo (formerly Deborah Awner) is an accomplished pianist and composer with over three decades of teaching experience. She received her degree from Manhattan School of Music and studied with Joseph Prostakoff and Sophia Rosoff. She teaches adults and children and has developed an innovative method, based largely on Abby Whiteside's principles. She teaches jazz and pop styles as well as classical music.
Dr Donna Coleman's work with Sophia Rosoff and study of Abby Whiteside's writings inspired her Dancing with the Piano philosophy and practice that has transformed her playing and that of her students (including "classical" and jazz pianists, guitarists, and in chamber music, all other instrumentalists) in three US universities and now at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music in Australia, as well as in masterclasses around the world. Albert Bover is a professional jazz pianist with classical training. He teaches at the Music University of Catalonia in Barcelona, and performs throughout Europe. He studied with Fred Hersch from 1990-1992, and with Sophia Rosoff since 2004. Bover is available for private lessons, masterclasses, and workshops.
Felix Tani lives in Malmö, in the south of Sweden and received a BFA in jazz performance piano from The Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Felix studied with Sophia Rosoff and Gregg Kallor.
